US Open Tennis

Another US Open… another two weeks of having to watch Rafael Nadal pick his rear end on television. Seriously, what is this guy’s deal? Why, why WHY, before every single point, does he have to go digging around in his behind like some three year old who has no manners? If his undies don’t fit and give him wedgies, why doesn’t he just get some new ones?!

I have to admit, that just annoys me so much. And it is so wrong that the television camera crews have been instructed to keep the cameras on Nadal above his waist, so that his picking at his butt isn’t put on television every single point. (Of course, you still see it in the overhead shots, or different angles, but the camera crews really have been instructed to do close up shots of Nadal rather than the normal coverage they use for other players.)

Again, I have to ask: Seriously? This guy is now the number one tennis player according to ATP rankings, and he has to pick his butt before every point? Seriously??? Please, I wish his agent, his coach, his publicist, his family, friends, fans, someone, please tell him how gross it is to watch!

Hee hee – Novak is growing in me, And I know Roger can’t keep going forever, but i would like to see his go out a winner, And I still long for the days of Andre, Boris, Johnny Mac, Sampras… but i will just have to find someone new to root for, just like I have to do with NASCAR, lol! I do admit after seeing the final set, I mean he just made Rafael look like he had no life, certainly not like he normally plays. Was he hurt, or has “Djoker” stopped joking around and elevated his game to an amazing level. 3/4 majors, 64-2 for the year, is just incredible. I will always root for Roger, but Novak, I’m starting to really like him, especially how he downplayed the match, that it was a game, and fun, but the real focus this weekend should be on the anniversary of 9/11 (and he wore a NY FD Hat). His trophy acceptance speech, I’ll have to find it, I’m sure it is transcribed somewhere, but it was definitely classy.
